    I used to see an old guy at Starbucks who would set up a bose speaker system with his laptop (two channels AND a sub). Then, he would plug in his headphones to the speakers. I asked him and he said that his "Bose speakers sound much better"-- of course he wasn't actually listening to the speakers, just the headphones...

    @GenericWhiteGuy: Well, technically, it does use the amp from the speaker system; he was just using it as a headphone amp. So it would take on different characteristics. Nevermind the fact that Bose hasn't made a decent product in 15 years.

    I've considered bringing my 20" iMac to school for exams, so that I could see more of my essay at once with all the screen real estate, and freak out my classmates. Unfortunately, I've found that my 15" MBP has been entirely adequate for my test taking needs.

    This seems very odd at first I know. The strange thing is I found out an older friend of mine (who is also balding) plays WoW and has like four lvl 80 chars. He is sick and I guess that's one thing to do to pass time. The odd thing is: How are older men everywhere starting to play WoW all of the sudden?

    Is there a special marketing campaign towards older guys I haven't seen?
