Coloring Book: Now You Really Have to Stay Inside the Lines]]> This great "HD for Kids!" coloring book by Non-Toxic Reviews teaches tykes all about the joys—and pitfalls—of High-Def TV through activities like tracing burn-in on a plasma screen and the borderline-autistic "draw 1,080 dots inside this HDTV". The book is too funny not to be a little tongue-in-cheek, but the lessons are real and helpful for people of all ages. I can definitely relate to the part that gets the young 'uns disappointed early in life when they realize they have four HDMI devices, but only one input to plug them into. Check out our favorite pages in the gallery, and get the full book for free by hitting the link. [Non-Toxic Reviews via BBG]

<![CDATA[Colorware Colors Up iPhones in Style]]> Want your iPhone in a color other than silver? Apple can't help, but Colorware's got you covered. You saw what a good job they did on on Xbox 360, so there's no reason to think their quality will be anything but spectacular for the iPhone. You can send in your existing iPhone and have them color it up for $149, or buy a pre-colored 4GB for $649 and a 8GB for $749. Not a bad deal if you really want to get an even bigger head start on differentiating yourself from other cellphone users. But if you're being cheap, you can always get a $48 back replacement. <![CDATA[Colorware Custom-Colors Consoles]]> If you still can't bring yourself to buy an Xbox 360 Elite—even though its HDMI gives you the best output—take a look at Colorware. Yes, the same people who are coloring up Sidekick 3s, MacBooks, and MacBook Pros are helping you enhance your Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3s.

Prices start at just $99 for a complete one color job, but start to get higher as you start to make garish neon green accents and a safety orange face. They'll even throw in a free controller coloring, but each subsequent one costs you $25. Or, if you don't actually have a console yet, you can buy one outright from these guys already colored.

Despite not really being into the coloring scene, we're actually warming up to the idea of having our consoles modded for just about a hundred bucks.

<![CDATA[R.C. Color Bug Designer Clearly Has No Children]]> At first glance, the R.C. Color Bug seems like a great idea and a fun product for young kids. Plug a marker into the top of the remote-controlled bug, set it on a big sheet of paper and they can doodle away without having to stop bouncing off the walls long enough to sit down.

But then it dawns on you that "art surfaces" can and probably will quickly grow to encompass your new white carpet, your leather sofa, and pretty much any other flat surface in your house. Luckily, it's not launching until September, giving you eight months to gird your loins and coat your entire house in vinyl. Also, given that they are likely to receive a patent on the entire concept "radio-controlled art," expect there to be many more of these things in the works. Official grade: Not for the faint of heart.
