It fits my 15" Macbook Pro with an external mouse. Had the lapdesk for a few years now and I love it.

I like the look of this thing, very much. Still, for years now I've been using an alternate laptop-on-couch stand, the Dexia Rack, which I like very much and it works well with even a 17" MacBook Pro. Sadly, though, it seems to have been discontinued, despite an as-yet unfulfilled promise for a 2nd gen version.

And speaking of whether or not this Logitech model supports 17" systems...
...it's probably not the perfect fit for a 17-inch system.
Well, it is supposed to work with larger laptops. From the Logitech website:

PC and Mac notebooks with up to a 17-inch display

Looks like a nice lapdesk, though white is hell to keep clean. I actually use a bed tray as a laptop stand, and it works beautifully. It has great pop up legs, easy to keep clean, doesnt hold the heat and a fraction of the cost of one of these.

Blind the sun?! Well, with that capability, I'll buy it.

For years the Sun has been trying to kill me. I've answered with ever increasing applications of sunscreen which has been met by the Sun melting the ice caps to drown me. And let's not forget the Sun having its Valley Girl minions wreak havoc on the ozone by using CFC-propelled Aqua Net hairspray all through the Eighties.

Now, I can strike back at the Sun. Sure, plutocrat and former billionaire C. Montgomery Burns successfully blocked out its rays, but this can cause actual retinal damage.

Smile while you can, Mr. Sun. Soon, your eyes of yours will be as useless as those raisins you dump upon the Earth by the scoopful.
