Yes, yes they should.

Exactly the point I was making above, except you called it just a little more, shall we say, pointedly.

Dude, the point is that in the time it takes this guy to load a web page, the iPhone in the Apple ad loads three pages, a map, gets located, downloads an attachment and gets a call.
The Apple ads are completely misleading, and that's the point of the video.

I'm sorry, there is no correlation I could see between the two sets of actions. Where is the so-called comparison? All I see is two very different sets of actions, right from the get go when the "real user" spins the iPhone around and is not even already on the iPhone's homepage but has to fiddle with waking it up first. And it only diverges further from there.
C'mon, let's compare...well...apples to Apples.

The Apple iPhone ads are obviously misleading, by a large, large margin, as anyone can try on their own.

Which is exactly my point--there is NOTHING in this supposedly scathing exposé which shows ANY of that comparison. NOTHING.
Show me someone doing the same steps as the Apple ad, then we'd have a fair comparison. Right now, though, it's totally a non-demo.

At the same time, I can see where @bosskev is coming from. If you're going to compare, you should simply do the same thing. Same site, same applications, right down to receiving a call.
Ultimately, folks, it doesn't matter. We all know the ad is bullshit which is how you can describe Apple's intentions by proxy.

Certain restrictions/limitations, such as constant WiFi access may apple.

@UltimateIdiot: Not really. Apple products are pretty good. I use windows daily, I support windows, I also support macs, linux, and a few other OS's as part of my employment. Vista is basically an administrative nightmare compared to XP, and it shows.
Vista, while a good attempt, falls far short of what it should have been. Which is a step forward in computing. Instead it provides no ROI or incentive to upgrade from XP unless you need more than 3 gig of ram. Which is rare for most business uses.
