Something tells me that a company that relies on Apple not releasing colored iPods is doomed, particularly in this economy.
Speaking of "this economy" is anyone else sick of that phrase yet? I personally vow that this post will be the last time that I say "particularly in this economy." I'll try to think of a more hopeful term.
Because if you are going to pay a ridiculous sum of money for an MP3 player without buttons, you might as well pay ridiculously more to have it in a shade that matches your favorite fashion accessories.
@Ruho: I think part of the reason why the iPod classic only comes in two color options is because Apple wants to simplify the more expensive stuff to keep from having lots of unwanted product.
A good example is the white Zune. That thing sold poorly, and was a bargain basement item on Amazon.com for quite some time. I could be wrong, but it's a thought.

Plus, they botched the red on the Product (RED) 2g shuffle. So I don't really trust them to get the red right.
