Well, luckily the NWO has installed devices so they can shut down the internet under the guise of the Emergency Broadcast System. That's why Barack Obama is the tip of the spear! It's in revalations people!
What is that thing Ballmer keeps talking about? Apple Tax thingy??? Seems to me the Apple Tax isn't so bad compared to the 9+ billions of Microsoft Tax. :-)
@Ken_Darrow: There is no MS tax, the patch is free, The problem here is the hospital relying in software that is clearly not supported by Microsoft as it reached its end of life
If conficker turned out to be effective at eliminating other viruses as well, maybe it could be viewed as an efficient software delivery mechanism for state of the art anti-virus software. $50 would be well worth it, with conficker living in symbiotic harmony in your system, more like a computer bacteria than a virus.
see this is wat i dnt get i torrent things a go to jus about every type of website have no virus protection watsoever and iv never gotten a worm virus or trojan on my comps
@Kaiser-Machead: Now I'm conflicted. I know that viruses are bad, but if it makes the MacAffee people unhappy then it must be inherently good, but viruses are supposed to be bad, but, but...
@nukee: I know! I was so disappointed on April 1st. I was hoping they'd at least do something interesting, whether it be an attempt at a neural net, an act of random and destructive anarchy, or just teach a mischievous lesson about the need for internet security. Damn heartless corporationsmercenary hackers. More interested in making money than doing something cool.
@I Think We're Property: You have no idea how much I was hoping that on April 1st millions of computers around the world were going to have a notification window pop up ever 15 minutes saying "You really should keep your computer up to date".
@hu_hu_cool: I'm going to guess you meant 'steal', and I'm also going to guess you just made Mac owners (that you tried to make fun of) really happy that you're not one of them.... (guessing that from your post above)
