    I live in Austin, but didn't get a chance to go see it. I heard them talking about it on the radio (101X, if you're interested), and they were saying they should send one of their interns down to hack them again. Here's hoping!

    That IS dangerous in Austin... Given the horrible drivers in this city, we need all the help we can get!


    (I bet a zombie could drive better than 1/2 this town)


    I strongly suggest that every Austinite be required to drive in Manhattan for 2 weeks before they can drive here. Maybe then they won't drive around on the highways like they have a nauseous 114 year-old woman in the back seat!

    Pfft. Zombies won't last long here in Texas. Everyone has at least a shotgun and a good supply of ammo. I imagine the horde will be defeated quickly enough so that it won't even make the evening news.

    @kirby822: If they get to houston they'll be stuck in traffic for days, then have to pay Tolls just to get to attack... by that time it will rain and flood the roadways, then turn freezing cold in an hour, freezing them in place. Which will lead to them getting run over by the METRORail.....Game Over

    @JackMatt: That is a great book, I read it cover to cover. In the back, it has "actual accounts" of zombie attacks.

    wow, this is amazingly irresponsible. masking the real danger with some stupid, juvenile message. think of the lives that were probably lost when innocent drivers passed by laughing off the message knowing it was an obvious prank only to turn the corner and run into a horde of dangerous ninjas.

    @Anonymoose: So the Ninja's did it to trick the people? Or did the pirates do it so that people would bring guns to fight the zombies, and when they encountered the ninjas, killed them, thus insuring the pirate victory? Or did they release the hounds? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you?

    You know, it was either Gizmodo or Lifehacker that posted the article on how to hack a road sign. Soooooo this is partly your fault. I bet all the person did is pick the locks and used the tutorial provided by either Giz or LH (can't remember who posted the article), and that's how they did it.


    I knew it wasn't a good idea to post that article...

    @SJRNWT: Yes, the timing is very suspicious. Gizmodo posts an article about hacking road signs, and a few days later, it happens. They even have the same Zombie theme.
