    Wow, the Google doodle is now Cookie Monster instead of Big Bird (as it was yesterday). Good call Giz!

    Also, can anyone tell me why they're doing Sesame Street multiple days in a row when it started November 10, 1969? Or are they doing a whole week? #cookiemonstergooglesong

    @Rosa Golijan: All the characters are being cycled by different countries.

    Cookie Monster was up for Australia and Malaysia when Big Bird was up for America.

    In the UK they celebrated the 20th anniversary of Wallace and Gromit though.

    @Rosa Golijan: No offense to the others, but you're arguably the best Gawker editor/writer that I've seen on any Gawker site in a long time.

    Which is a high mark, when you consider some of the quality writing from your Gizmodo, io9, Gawker and Lifehacker colleagues. (Yes, there are good ones on the other non mentioned Gawker sites, as well.)

    Your articles are thought provoking, come from many alternative topics that still follow the premise of technology (and tech meme) and they don't read nearly as boring as an employee's manual (or something).

    So, with two more thumbs up, keep up the good work!#cookiemonstergooglesong
