    When your baby wakes up, you wake up. They need human contact, not a rocking crib. When it is your child and you are not selfish, it is not a problem to wake up to take care of them.

    I sure hope this isn't a sign of things to come. Last thing we need is an even larger population of maladjusted people who weren't held enough, and just remember soft motorized rocking when they cried.

    This seems based on the premise that the phone won't be powerful enough to marshal peripherals. If the phone has enough processing power, why would you need a 'smart dock?' This seems like it might have been a good idea when phones were still dumb, but given their evolving smartness, not so much.
