I don't see how this giant thing that takes away from real seating space is in anyway better than having your stick and balls free and out there hanging around.

This does not seem very space efficient.

Looks more like a massive outdoor grill. Maybe call it the Barb-A-Cue?

So anyone who is unlucky enough to sit in the seat is gonna have blue chalk all over their back and hair.

@AKAuser: "...is gonna have blue chalk all over their back and hair."

Well that can happen anytime you and your date get "adventurous". In my book, playing pool would be the second-best use of a billiards table.

Pool tables look weird without anything on them. I like keeping the balls racked and maybe a couple of pool sticks on it.

@Digo: All this talk about racks and balls is very exciting.

@Digo: I disagree. For a pool enthusiast, you're supposed to cover the table up and put all the balls in the pockets. Leaving pool sticks upright keeps them from getting warped, and keeps the fabric on the table from getting a little indentation where the stick was.

@Kev50027: But they have to be pretty much perfectly straight up/down for them to not warp eventually. I have seen poorly designed wall hangers that will warp the fcuk out of a pool cue.

I actually like seeing the cues lined up on the wall. And I like to leave my balls out where people can see them.

@weezeee: If I were like MJ, I would throw out those sliding drawers, and fill that chamber with oxygen and lie down inside.

Even better, after the game when you sit down with your high-ball and stogy, you can take the much higher seat and look down on the little people you destroyed.

Seriously, the seat seems to be an after-thought for a hastily designed gigantic case for billiards "stuff". Ignoring the additional space it would require and the fact the pool table itself requires so much space, I am not certain I understand the advantage to having the stuff stored in this rather than on the wall.

@Monty: More wall space for your various framed/neon illuminated scarface posters...
