Melissa wants this. She loves her originally T-Mobile Curve but is ready for something new. This seems like a good compromise - newer edition same experience she's familiar with.
"The lack of 3G (sorry once you're used to it you can't go back)"
I don't know I was 3G (Sprint 6700 Blackjack Palm 750) before dropping down to EDGE on a first gen iPhone. Most of the time it's good enough. And the WiFi at home or in hotels picks up the slack.
@That's What She Said: Please shut up. THe election is over.. if you are sour about the PEOPLES (not all) choice in president, then in 2012 mobilize and help get the CANDIDATE OF YOUR CHOSSING ELECTED. Other wise please STFU.
Discontened fools are like leaky faucets, noisey and waste more than they produce.
I CALL PHOTOSOPPERY!!!it looks like the 8900's hardware but everything else is photoshoped. att logo? the 8900 is t-mobile only, att hasnt announced anything.
wow.. just wow.. forget the new BB, the review of John Mayer is what strikes me..
"The screen is delicious and not just because a video of John Mayer is preloaded on it, one thing RIM's been getting very right (the screen, not John Mayer, though that is also very right)."
. Colors pop like John Mayer's lyrics, contrast is contrasty and the 480x360 resolution is fantastic, with a nice, wide viewing angle. The screen's still too small to watch anything longer than a music video-starring ,say, John Mayer-but it'll look pretty good while it's rolling."
How come there are two different keyboards pictured? You seem to be reviewing Curve with black background buttons that has red/maroon digits, however some pictures show a Curve with white and black digits.
@thanq: One's the T-Mobile Curve (the one I'm talking about here) but for convenience I embedded the gallery from our holder hands on with the AT&T Curve 8900 because it gives a good sense of size.
