First a burger dedicated to the OS, now fifth-grader Will Smith gives us this adorable performance of "Windows Rising," set to the tune of CCR's "Bad Moon Rising."

According to the source, Will wants to program for Microsoft when he gets older. Let me tell you something, kid: If you show this video to anyone at Microsoft, there's no way they won't give you a job on the spot.

And one other thing, Will: You do far more justice to your source material than the majority of CCR cover bands out there. Keep up the good work. [TechFlash]

<![CDATA[A Bluetooth Holder Like Mom Would Make]]>

Say hello to BLU-TOOTH, a handmade Bluetooth earpiece holder that's probably as pointless as he is cute. Nom nom nom.

As I write this, the one-of-a-kind critter with Velcro nose can still be picked up for $7. If you miss out, his pink SWEE-TOOTH friend may still be available for adoption.

<![CDATA[Splitterbot Headphone Splitter Makes Sharing Music Even Cuter]]> Some gadgets scream out for an adorability upgrade, like netbooks or Roombas. Headphone splitters aren't exactly one of them, but Splitterbot is too cute to deny.

As much as there's nothing more adorable than sharing one pair of earbuds, one bud per person, sometimes you just gotta have the full stereo. Splitterbot is here to keep the cuteness factor up while retaining superior sound quality. You have to pop his head off to reveal the audio-in jack, and then the two pairs of 'phones are plugged directly into the little guy's eyes. That sounds way more grotesque than cute, now that I write it, but probably in practice it's not quite so gruesome. Splitterbot is available for $16, because cuteness demands a slight premium. You have to admit you want to actually buy this. Come on. Admit it. I SAID ADMIT IT. Ah, nevermind, but I will get one myself. [Fruitshop via Craziest Gadgets]

<![CDATA[Yuen’To Music Ball is Great for Listening to Music, Bopping Heads]]> Clearly a product of the deep-sea geothermal vent creature school of cuteness, the Yuen'To Music Ball is an adorable, albeit expensive, powered portable speaker.

Unlike most products in this category, the Music Ball was designed with usability in mind. This foamy ball will sit anywhere, dangle or swing during playback, demanding no support beyond your device's headphone jack. The single white wire and range of appealing colors let the Music Ball double as a fashion accessory (though admittedly not the most masculine one), and the powered speaker ensures that you'll actually be able to hear your music. The battery only lasts about two hours, but it's USB-rechargeable.

The only catch is the price: it's kind of expensive even without importing costs, and once it's shipped over from Japan it comes in at just below $80. If that's not too rich for your blood, the Yuen'To ships in February. [Akihabara]

<![CDATA[Useless Monkey Webcam Smiles and Cheers You On]]> Behind this monkey's disheveled smile lies a discreet webcam. He clings on to a pencil holder, handy for that USB pencil sharpener you bought during the last Woot-Off, with a special message: "Happy every day."

With a resolution of 800x600 pixels, the webcam will serve your basic Skype needs, even though I'm sure that's not this gadget's most useful trait. I could use a little bit of "Happy every day!" in my life as long as it makes me forget about the other monkey who managed to leave the country with a $1 trillion deficit. Still the monkey-webcam's adorable smile/pencil holder/webcam combination for $25 propels the product into "lets-buy-it-for-kicks" territory, even though you know you really don't need it. <![CDATA[Friday Cuteness: Sleeping Animal Stays Warm Under a MacBook]]>
Here is a video of an animal sleeping underneath the warmth of a MacBook. Watch it once for the cuteness, then watch it again to figure out what kind of animal it is. The video labels it as a baby squirrel, but a lot of the YouTube commenters seem to think it is a chipmunk.

<![CDATA[Kitty vs Frontrow, Follow up]]> There was some concern from our commenters yesterday after we posted the Kitty vs Frontrow video. Don't worry. The MacBook made it out okay! Michael C, friend of the MacBook owner, had this to say:

I thought I should let you and your commenters know that is my friend's macbook pro and no the kitty did not scratch up the screen and my friend didn't start the music...the cat did that :)

Everyone can breathe easy now. The MacBook made it out scratch-free.

<![CDATA[Crane Adorable Humidifiers]]>

Usually we resent product names that tell us how we should feel about them, but the fact that Crane's line of animal-shaped humidifiers are adorable is beyond disputing. We have a dog and also live with cats, so we'd probably end up with the two at left, but the elephant and panda are nice too.

The frog, however, is so cute our heads would explode if we had to see it every day; we recommend you also avoid it. Here at Gizmodo, we care about your safety.
