    If you're cutting something really thin, that doesn't need a particularly accurate cut (like, say, wrapping paper), it's easier by far to just hold the scissors slightly open and slide them through the paper.

    I'm disappointed you're referencing Dave Coulier via Full House when he first did the "CUT-IT-OUT" thing on Nickelodeon's infinitely funnier "Out of Control". It would have scored you so many more points in my book.
