I can't get over imagining it, as you said, vividly. I thought about when I've surprised anyone. They close their eyes and smile, excited at what they might get. To see your parents with that loving smile, and pull the trigger...man.

this is why I would never keep a gun in the house. Rather get shocked then killed. Although I dont think I will ever want children. Once you have em your life is over.

@PDSM: Why would you blame an inanimate object for something a person did? By your logic will you not have knives, matches, poison cleaning chemicals, etc. in your house either?

This kid is twisted, he broke into a safe to get the game and the gun, let's not blame the particular tool he used to commit his crime. When you blame a crime on the implement with which it was committed you partially excuse the perpetrator of said crime. A lifeless object cannot be evil, obviously excluding killer robots.

@TheYoshi: Guns are not the whole problem, but they do expedite violent tendencies. I would think twice about trying to kill two people with a knife, since I might be overpowered. With a gun, that restriction does not exist.

Of course, people should not want to kill other people in the first place. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Guns just make it easier for murderers.

I am interested in his sentence, as he was tried as an adult and here in Ohio (where this happened) we have the death penalty, though I doubt they apply it to anyone who was a minor no matter how bad the circumstances.
