Meh. I guess if you were waiting until reviews for the nook came in, now is the best time to buy a kindle before Xmas and any discount is netter than none. But if you're not geting one as a gift, wait; we'll see k3 in February.
Amazon has the Asus G51J-A1 for $1,409 (down from list of $1,499) with free shipping and no tax (where applicable). I live in California, so compared to Newegg, it's almost a $300 difference even though the difference in list price is only about $90.
Good old games has Tex Murphy 1+2 for free, you just have to download it before December 24th. I've only played Under a Killing Moon but I would like more Tex.

@Gundem: Personally, I really love it. It's not a very deep fighting game, but the story mode is pretty amusing and the characters all have quite a bit of personality. Controls are intuitive, so it's easy to pick up for people who like casual fighting games.
Anyone ever use them (or the other sites) with any luck? I am thinking of signing up (I dont go to bars) but hear horror stories....Is it worth the hassle or should I just get a bunch of cats and give up?
@Curves: A couple friends of mine both met their significant others through Match.com. It let them meet people they had more in common with. Sometimes it didn't work out, but I think they are happy with the experience. If you try it, don't go in expecting miracles on your first match, just do it to have fun and meet people that you might want to go out with.
With that being said, I met my wife by sending her a message on ICQ. We chatted all evening and went to a restaurant the next day and watched a movie (Ocean's 11) at her place.
So it is possible to meet decent people online.
Edit: ... if you try it, I wish you the best of luck!
@Curves: I used eHarmony for a while. It's just like meeting people any other way some are good and some are bad. Just meet at a restaurant or somewhere else public for the first time.
Griffin has 25% off entire purchase with free shipping if its over $30 if you enter YUM25 at checkout. I got the itrip, clarifi case (works awesome with evernote) and powerduo reserve. Basically got the case for free.

Apart from meeting her, it seemed to go alright.
