So, you can pay $200 for the XBox and get back $100. Then, use the $100 gift card and $100 in your own money to get another XBox + gift card. This way you get... infinite XBoxes!!

(As long as you don't mind a growing proportion of your net worth being in Walmart gift cards.)

Also, they might have some stupid rule like limiting it to one per customer. Stupid sensible rules always messing up my shit. #walmartblackfriday

@kernel panic: You actually might be able to, but with an HP I can't imagine you'd be able to get away with it without losing something important, like all of the audio capability.

Here's a good place to start to find compatible systems, though I'm not sure how up-to-date this is.

Oddly enough, it is as cheap for me to buy the $300 xbox as it is the Arcade through this deal.

For this deal, I have to spend the $200 and $40 to get the xbox and hard drive (I have a 20gig already, and it is too small). Now, add onto that the price of a headset.

Now then, I get 10% off at an unnamed other retailer, so it is $270 for the next up in the line. Subtract from that the money you could sell those games on craigslist (say $25 combined) and you are at $245, and you have the headset already. So yeah, if you know anyone who works for a retailer, see if they can get you their employee discount. Might work out better than this. #walmartblackfriday

I should add, 10% is a pretty common discount for big box retailers to give their employees.

No it wouldn't be cheaper because if you buy this Arcade you get a $100 gift card. And with the $ 100 gift card you can by the 120 gig HDD and still spend 100 dollars less then buying a $ 300 or $270 system. The selling point is the gift card not the system which already costs $ 199 for the arcade model.

oooh im gonna do some investing and profiteering on that xbox. i think i'll get three and sell 2 of em for $150 each. i pretty much break even with a new xbox, the only downside is having $300 tied up in walmart gift cards.

i dont think you could buy 2 of em and use the two gift cards on the third and come away with a gift card. they prolly thought of that. #walmartblackfriday
