Has anyone ever bought a HDTV online? I'm sure lots of you have. I'm still rockin the plain old tube, and when my tax check comes, I'm finally taking the plunge. Lots of cool stuff at #dealzmodo for super cheap. I'm most likely going to buy somewhere between a 42 and 47 inch LCD at 120 Hz. My wife will argue that her sister's 60 Hz tv looks nice, but I will not bring that weak sauce in my house. I want to spend like $750 - 1000.

I was just wondering if the majority of people who buy such a large, expensive item online were happy with their experience. Also, any recommendations, or anti-recommendations (brands or products to avoid)?
