I bought a lovely Gelaskins skin for my iPod. When the pod bit the dust and I sold it on eBay I kept the skin, but whether I'll buy another 5th gen pod is still unknown.

I usually take all the stickers off my stuff, but in this instance, at least for now, I'm leaving the Atom sticker on my Dell Mini 9.

No, I covered my old HP laptop in stickers. And then the stickers started peeling off, and I no longer used that brand of ski and it started looking really cheap and lame. Pretty much, I'm no longer 17. Decorating your gadgets is like getting a tattoo but with shorter term limits.

Think back to the tattoo you would have gotten ten years ago. Would you still like it today? No, because you were a fucking idiot ten years ago.

Think back to the sticker you would have put on your laptop 10 months ago, would you still like it today? No, because that company already went out of business and that awesome game is so early 2008.

@mcjake: Es-CUUUUUSE ME? The tattoo I got ten years ago was my first and I love it as much now as I did then.

Just because you had to use a whole bottle of Goo Gone to get that New Kids on the Block sticker off your HP doesn't mean the rest of us went that route.

I decorated the hell out of my MacBook way back. My VAIO hasn't been stickered. Nor has my Toshiba.

Two of my portable drives got stickered - one of them my pr0n drive. My white WD Passport drive is still gleaming white though.

My iPhone not only is not stickered, it's naked. No case or protector screen. I know - I live dangerously.

As for my guitars, I never sticker a guitar although I did sticker a rather natty hardcase for one of my Pauls.

Do bodily fluids count? I bled all over an old laptop I had once without noticing until the blood had dried, it permanently stained the plastic...
