    this thing is thinner than the MBA, but the MBA against a black backround would look similar, in that you can't f'ing see the actual edges and the thing looks thinner than it actually is.

    It's images like these in the media that set unrealistic standards for the young laptops displaying them. Users don't just want a laptop with a thin profile to carry around and show off to their friends. They want a laptop with a real CPU inside. (Although big harddrives don't hurt).

    Yes, it's thin. But at the end of the day, you have to go to sleep at night knowing all you've purchased is Dell's best attempt at making something that Apple introduced almost 2 years ago. And it's still not as pretty... and still not a Mac.

    WTF is wrong with you people? I don't think it's possible for a laptop to be too thin, as long as all other aspects of the design aren't negatively impacted. Laptops are not human beings.

    @DaSazonator: The USB port is also jacked up in the closed picture. It's not parallel with the bottom of the case. It looks fine in the open picture.
