If there's anything those amateur internet webcam video ladies need to improve their quality (besides, you know, exercising and eating right), it's more light. This Net Cowboy from Digital Cowboy of Japan does the job seven times over.

It may look like a USB missile launcher, but it's actually a 1.3-megapixel webcam with seven LEDs to light up whatever's in front of the lens. It even comes with some software so you can view the cam through your cellphone as well, which is better than lugging around a laptop like we usually do. [Akihabara News]

Can't be anywhere without those tunes? Get yourself the Digital Cowboy DC-SCDP1/256 water resistant stereo MP3/WMA player with AM/FM radio. It has 256MB of built-in memory and you can also slip in an SD memory card with capacity up to 1GB. If you don't have an SD card, transferring tunes from your PC goes quickly via USB 2.0. There's a kickstand in the back so you can prop it up in the shower, or you can hang it on the wall.

Since it's merely water-resistant and not waterproof, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to submerge the old Digital Cowpoke just to see how he sounds underwater. Yours for $85. – Charlie White

Digital CowBoy, not to be confused with Analog CowBoy, released a DVD/HD based media player. You can choose either a DVD or HD drive to put inside, and out comes a full HD video (1920x1080). Connect this to your HDTV set watch all your ripped movies. The formats supported are: "Mpeg-1/2/4, DVD (IFO, ISO, VOB), WMV HD, MP3, WMA and OGG."

Digital Cowboy DCT-PM1 Dual-Pointer Mouse: Solution in Search of a Problem?

The quest for uniqueness in mousedom has reached its pinnacle with Digital Cowboy Japan's DCT-DPM1, touted as the worlds first, and perhaps last, dual-pointer mouse. With this five-button pointing device, there's a button on the left side that lets you shift between the two cursors that are enabled by the included driver software. The idea is that you can park one cursor in one place, and then move the other cursor somewhere else to select a different part of the user interface. Then, when you push that cursor change button, you immediately have control of a different part of the screen without having to move your mouse. Available this month in Japan for $25.

Perhaps this would be useful in some dual-monitor setups, or in a spreadsheet where you're controlling a cell and selecting items on the menu bar with the other cursor. Even so, at first glance it seems like a downright goofy, marginally useful idea. Readers?
