Saw a flick not long ago

    'Bout transforming robots - so

I figured - what the heck

and endure this goddamn stupid dreck

Never have I seen more ripe a turd

There is no expletive - no word

To describe this shit I can't undo

Bay, you asshole, what's wrong with you?

    Transformer balls, Blackbird cane

    WTF are you insane?

    Minstrel droids - ghetto bots

I'd rather take some morphine shots

    Terminators and silly shticks

These robots eat a bag of dicks

    Cullen's voice cannot save

the amount of brain cells that this shaved

Maybe that explains why his FiOS installation took so long. He needed a more Awesome connection.

Seriously, his next movie should just be called "BLAM/BOOM!"

Mark, please remove this article. I am still recovering from seeing the unspeakable horror that is "Transformers 2" and my therapist says that even stills or framegrabs can set off my PTSD.

@OMG! Ponies!: Don't agree with phaota, the movie was in fact "that bad".

It would have been an improvement to watch the movie "muted" during all dialog. Then turn on the sound when actual robot action started up. So much of that movie served no point and could have been left on the cutting room floor.

    SPOILERS!!!

Like the Twins, Sam's parents in Egypt/College, College roommates, dude's in thongs (are they fricken serious?), robot balls, "bad" government/DOD guy, Blackbird robot (didn't even fly), Marine Corps commercial/Sam vision of Primes...

@phaota: It was joyless, hamfisted, mindnumbing, banal, and painful to watch and listen to.

It made no sense, was overlong, frequently verged on racist, and lacked any artistic merit. I saw it only out of morbid curiosity, thinking "How bad can it be?"

It makes "Armageddon" look like Laurence Olivier's "Henry V".

@PDSM: Apparently the back story is that when that one landed in proto form it landed in Disney land. It's first thing it saw that it latched on to was an animatronic Alice in Wonderland (hence the name Alice). So sure, still a bit of a stretch, but slightly more acceptable than transformers straight copying humans.

And I think the ball bearings becoming razor thin transformer bugged me more. Really, when did they learn how to transform at a molecular level.

@citizensmith: Actually, if you wanted to try and ground their transforming abilities in some kind of reality, they'd have to transform at the molecular level anyway, since they change the properties of their bodies to different components, such as rubber insulation for wiring, rubber compounds for tires, fuel, and paint finishes throughout. Their protoforms are nothing like the vehicles they mimic, so their body panels would have to completely shift in shape to accommodate the form they want to copy.

I'm still pissed that they got the oscar for best visual effects. it's just them splicing a face onto a different body.

unlike Iron Man where they constructed a fully functional mech suit inside a computer and made it look believable, or Dark Knight where they just decided to take a city and digitally blow the hell out of it.
