I use plenty of recipes from AllRecipes, and in a smallish kitchen and with a big project it can kinda suck trying to find a clean, dry place for a 17" laptop. That said, I don't need a lame locked-down set of videos, I just need a little WiFi touchscreen with a competent web browser and decent onscreen keyboard.
@Evil Timmy: I'm in the same boat. To protect my laptop, it actually sits on the dining room table which is just a head poke out of the kitchen, but safe from flying foodstuffs.
Take one cookbook and one epicurious and/or YouTube recipe/demonstration on my iphone. Add whatever the hell I feel like doing to deviate wildly from both.
What there ARE not enough of in the world are e-ink tabletops that you can program to have virtual roaches scamper across to scare the living shit out of guests.
I suppose this WOULD come in handy if you've got a beverage thief in the office. Snap a pic of your balls, set it as the photo, and I guarantee no one's going to want to drink out of that thing again.
@ScottRose: I don't think mugs like that are usually dishwasher safe either. You risk getting water in the insulating layer then the whole thing is shit.
@Ryan Hernalsteen: I'm receiving an update here. Yes, experts have agreed the outside of a travel mug isn't scalding hot. But, the boiling liquid inside is. More to follow. Stay tuned to ActionSteveDave news, on GESD TV.

Looks like the electronic-photo-dealy snaps off of the mug. Maybe. There are two clips on the right and left of the screen unit.

Then it would be in no danger in my bachelor's pad. Haven't run the dishwasher in...well, er...ever. Paper cups FTW!

IMO if water can get into the insulating layer, then the thing was shit to begin with.

There's actually one barista in the SB in my building that I wouldn't mind having on my coffee thing..
