For this week's Shooting Challenge, I want to see the fast "food" that you eat—be it gorgeous or grotesque.

The official challenge: "Fast Food." As always, interpret the theme however you'd like to give us the best shot that you can.

The Four Rules:

1. Submissions need to be your own.
2. Photos need to be taken the week of the contest. (No portfolio linking or it spoils the "challenge" part.)
3. Explain, briefly, the equipment, settings and technique used to snag the shot.
4. Email submissions to contests@gizmodo.com.

Send your best entries by the end of Thursday at contests@gizmodo.com with "Fast Food" in the subject line. Save your files as JPGs or GIFs at 800 pixels wide, and use a FirstnameLastname.jpg naming convention using whatever name you want to be credited with. Include your shooting summary (camera, lens, ISO, etc) in the body of the email. [Image]

<![CDATA[What Are You Cooking For Dinner?]]> Yesterday's lunch question was so much fun—now we want to see what you are cooking up for dinner. So what's on the menu tonight? It's beef right? Beef is always what's for dinner. Show us in the comments.

Taste Test is our weeklong tribute to the leaps that occur when technology meets cuisine, spanning everything from the historic breakthroughs that made food tastier and safer to the Earl-Grey-friendly replicators we impatiently await in the future.

<![CDATA[Question of the Day: Is it Rude to Check Your Email at Dinner?]]> With all of the mobile access we have to information these days, it is very easy to become obsessed with checking our email. Naturally, this can lead to situations that some may consider rude. So the question is: are you among those who feel that checking email during dinner is inappropriate?
