In reply to Star Trek Season 1 on Blu-ray is the Best Way to Watch
I really don't see a point in purchasing a tv series/movie that wasn't recorded in high definition video/audio. I feel that you're getting hosed over on the price of something that would be cheaper to buy, and have roughly the same video/audio quality on DVD.

I usually laugh to myself when i see someone buying a John Wayne Movie on blu-ray, poor sods.

The best way to watch star trek is by NOT watching it.

And after delving into the starry depths of Hi-Def scifi nostalgia, you can take a hot bath and relax with the one you love.
