is this a proof of concept thing? if so, the proof is in the pudding. and he looks like he knows about pudding. with that i believe he shall do well. and also cast bill cosby.
Corpse Bride was shot on a Canon 5D mark I (I believe), with Nikon lenses... Also for the manual aperture ring, because letting the camera set the aperture with an automatic lens leads to light flickering for complicated reasons that I don't understand completely.
Oooh aperture control during recording! Sexy! Now they need to start making SLRs that can do slow-mo hi def capture, like the Casio 1200FPS camera can. And for god's sake make that thing look like a rangefinder, not an SLR! Micro 4/3rds is supposed to be micro! MIII-CRO!!! It's the first word in the format. C'mon. No reason to keep making them big with a fake pentaprism housing. The whole point was to get rid of that. *sigh* /rant
@gloveofpower: A big part of the advantage of this size and shape for a camera is the ability to stabilize it when hand holding. By putting the camera to your eye, and pulling your elbows in, you can get pretty stable, compared to holding it at arms length and having it wave in the breeze. Handy for shooting video or high zoom levels.

Other than that, I have no brilliant videographic observations.
