What a piece of crap. I had the DP1 and it was one of the slowest focusing cameras in the world.

Now I have the Panasonic GF1. Now THAT'S a real camera. Sigma had the market to themselves and could have corner it but they really screwed the pooch by releasing a camera that performed like it was from 1999!

@Noobs-R-Us: How are you liking the GF1? I'm debating that or waiting for the EP2.

And yeah, the Sigma DPs are teh suck. Good idea, crappy execution.

@junyo: The GF1 is awesome. It's night and day between the DP series. The GF1 is super fast and super high tech. The autofocus tracking is like something out of star wars. You can just lock onto a target and it will track it in your screen even if you move the camera around or the target moves (within your screen of course).

The PQ is nice too.The colors are not as saturated as the Foveon chip but everything else is head and shoulders better.
