I don't really see a need to incorporate laptops in classrooms.

I can't seem to find the 2100 on Dell's website though. Despite all those pictures, not a single one with the laptop actually open? Weak.

College wise I understand, a lot of projects and work pile up and it is nice to have it all in one little place when it comes to large campuses or multiple campuses. Not to mention by that age you'd want your own computer so why not a transportable one.. but I remember by High School that even when we did need to use the internet or computer it would be typically in English or Science for a project and we'd use basic web search and word processing, something the school library and home computer combined are more than enough for.
Of course this may differ by some schools and their curriculum, but I see the gool ol' pen, paper, and binder being the best for education at that age.
