It looks like a standard wooden entertainment center from the front, but can still keep adequate air going even with the doors closed thanks to the flow-through ventilation slots situated in convenient locations. We're not sure how well this works in practice, but if they can guarantee that my 360 won't asplode when the front doors are shut, that $1950 price tag may be reaso...ok, we're not paying two thousand bucks for this. <![CDATA[Bamboo Entertainment Center Looks Good, is Functional Too]]> Don't fret, bamboo lovers. There is more bamboo crap out there to sink your teeth in. This is a entertainment center constructed out of bamboo. Not only does it look good, but the way the bamboo is placed together allows better airflow from the hot components that are placed inside. If I was a rich panda bear, I would be all over this entertainment center. $1,599.

<![CDATA[Swivel TV Entertainment Center Makes the TV Disappear]]> ...but I don't know why anybody would want to do that. This swiveling panel can rotate the TV around 180 degrees making it vanish completely. I'm trying to figure out a good application for this monstrosity of an entertainment center—maybe if you felt like knocking out a wall in your house, this could be an interesting replacement that would provide TV entertainment in two rooms. Regardless of how you use it, this swiveling entertainment center is sold at Costco, so it should be cheap, correct? Kind of. It will set you back $3,600, which isn't too shabby for a high-end entertainment center from the future.

<![CDATA[Make the Ultimate Gamer's Cabinet]]> As gamers, this is probably the best thing we've ever seen. An amateur woodworker converted a standard cabinet into the ultimate gamer's cabinet through some hard work and some wood. Each level holds a game console, elevated for maximum ventilation. He also drilled holes on the sides to put lighted PC fans to help move air.

An added bonus, the sides have hooks and holders so he can keep his controllers neat, but still in view. This mod requires some woodworking experience, but you should be able to take this idea and run with it to come up with an easier solution. Sure beats our current "put everything on the floor" approach.
