Shame on you. Gizmodo scorns piracy.
This product steals Apple's intellectual property, and offers literally none of the iPhone's selling points, especially not Apple's software and media ecosystem. What, you think people buy an iPhone just for looks?
In any event, have you ever held a Chinese knockoff? Used one? Seen just how depravedly shitty their software (and more often than not, hardware) is?

"Media ecosystem". HAHAAHHAHAHAH GOD-FUCKING-DAMN-IT. Is that some sort of marketing jargon for "you need to use iTunes, the single worst application (even including Windows ME) ever released"?
With regards to Chinese knockoffs... Though, yes, most are garbage keep the following in mind:
1) iPhones are made in China. So obviously it's not beyond their abilities to build something similar.
2) The build cost is relatively low for an iPhone 3G ($174.33).
3) The posters above are not saying that it's not garbage, but since the only thing any of us have to go on is the technical specs there is little anyone can say about the quality one way or the other. It really wouldn't take much to develop a basic and familiar UI, since being original isn't a huge deal.
That being said, i'm sure its cheap and slow and clunky.
My advice? Apple should add MMS, a better camera, and copy/paste.

If you don't like iTunes, why even bother with something that even looks like an Apple product? You're shooting yourself in the foot.

@USB_Humping_Dog: The iTunes store isn't bad at all, but using it in iTunes means it's painfully slow.
