That picture.....very photoshopped. The background has a very narrow depth of field, but the match and the chip are all in focus...hmmmm. Not that it matters.

What's the point of making these since in a few years, everybody will be tethered to incubators in a fixed room, human batteries supplying power to Google's cloud, and all perceived location and movement will be virtual.

Wow, I but this will fit into someones head. Youu could generate power by creating a reaction between the fillings in peoples teeth and their saliva. If they had braces, you could create an antenna for the GPS receiver, and even transmit/recieve things like audio! I wonder what use that could be. Now if you will excuse me, I have to work on this laser.

The NSA has had elements of this technology for years, I thought everyone knew these things were this small, OK, so I did have a dad in Navel Intelligence and an electrical engineer to boot. Did you know the KH-11 satellite, from space, can tell you what side of a dime is up on a street corner in Dubuque, Iowa?? RFID, and GPS enabled chips such as these make '1984' look like a walk in the park to Big Brother. Be good

@Kevin: TRUE STORY, in 1974, my sister - then 13yo, told a friend over the phone that she wanted to k!ll the President because he was a moron. Two days later the FBI was talking to our father, a police LT. That was 1974.

@EVEs_Mako: Wow, so the person couldn't tell the difference between your Father's voice and your 13 yo sisters? Wow, he must have gotten teased at the station, and I shudder to think what people he was trying to arrest said. Either he carried a really big stick so people would "respect his authoriti" or they kept him in dispatch.

@Kevin: This is exactly why I was laughing at '24' this week. (Spoiler Alert) When the car carrying the dude pulled up and all the satilite gave them was a blurry picture.

I'm like seriously, google earth can read signage on store fronts but the military, nsa, cia and all the other alphabets cant tell you that this dood is about to get blow'd up?
