    @dirtybacon: Man, there's not a year goes by- NOT A YEAR -that I don't read about some escalator accident involving some bastard duck that could've easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent, conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator!

    Am I the only one that thinks this is horribly depressing to watch? :(

    Of course the ducks won't go near the people, but they can't exactly get up the escalator either.

    Perhaps it's my inner PETA (but really I hate them so).

    @iceicemaybe: Not depressing at all.


    No one is making them do that. If they thought really hard about it, they could probably come up with another way of getting to the top of the escalator (I won't spoil it for you; you can figure it out all by yourself too!)

    @Hello Mister Walrus: Cause the stairs are too much work, and taking the elevator just seems lazy. Taking an escalator is a happy medium

    @iceicemaybe: I found it frustrating. I just wanted somebody to grab a maintenance guy and hurry up and turn the escalator off so they could get up the steps.

    Ducks aren't sparrows. They kinda need a bit of a running start to get airborne, and they're clearly not going to get that by hopping up stairs that are moving down like that. Wanna try again?

    Talk about getting nowhere, fast. Good thing they are ducks. I was tossed out of the Smithsonian (when I was 15) for going UP the DOWN escalator. Security guards have no sense of humor.

    @Amir Oulad: Seriously thrown out, and I think it was more due to the fact that I was disturbing his nap than actual escalator rules.


    (Steal? ME?? Nope. I may be a lot of things, but a thief isnt one, nor a liar either, much to the credit of my upbringing and conscience.)
