    Awesome! I've been looking for a mac-compatible storage solution that works not only above ground, but also underwater, accommodates all species-independent physiognomic, hierarchical vegetation classification systems, and takes into account variations in climate, elevation, grazing patterns, hydric regimes, and seasonal survival strategies.

    @frigg: This species has problems with parasites though. Nothing worse than a backup image that has heart worms...

    @bpapa9013: And come to think of it, the press release didn't limit operational ecosystems to Earth. I have been looking for an affordable backup solution that doesn't disintegrate as you plummet into the depths of a black hole. I've always considered LaCie a little iffy, but this could be the one!

    I guess it's the second network attached drive to be compatible, but I guess the first third-party, since Time Capsule exists. Strange..I didn't realize that other network drives couldn't be used for this.

    @Lane Jasper: working with OSX and Win is one thing, that is useful.


    But who gives a rat's ass about it working with time machine? My sister (experienced Mac user and fangurl) ditched her time machine.


    I mean what good is a time machine if it doesn't allow you to travel through time?
