    One of my favorites, but that's mostly due to hours spent on "Strike Eagle 2".

    I love jets, the F-22 is sick. I wonder if they will upgrade the F-14 or just keep it in retirement. My favorite plane of all time is a non-combat, the SR-71 blackbird, what a beautiful piece of machinery

    @ConfuciusMax: F-14?


    @dashielm: YF-23 maybe have been too advanced for its own good. The military needs a design they know would work. There was a lot of uncertainty over the unconventional control surfaces on the YF-23. Similar thoughts would surface again when X-32 was being considered.
