    So did they just put physical constraints on its growth area (ie, put it in a heart shaped box) or did they actually get a plant to grow to that shape on its own.


    If it's the former, lame; the latter, cool.

    @something_unique_and_descriptive: They tried using a heart-shaped box but when the watermelon was at its height of perfection, it committed suicide using a shotgun.
