Do you know what an iPod shuffle looks like?
This here is not just a rounded box. There would be no issue if it would be just a rounded-off box. There are so many conceivable ways to make a rounded box, but the one box they used is identical to the iPod shuffle.
Ditto for the clip.

there were pagers on sale in the UK that looked identical to the 'shuffle' in the 90's. did they rip off apple as well?
sorry if you think I'm wrong, thats your opinion lad.. but it's a rounded box with a beveled edge. big deal. took 10 minutes to design, been used countless times before.

See, that's the thing. They could've gone with any boxy design with a clip. The issue here are the form and the proportions of that form. They are identical to the iPod shuffle. Old pagers are not.
