You mention "iPhone or iTunes media", but the screen shot seems to say "iPhoto or iTunes" instead. Is there truly a way to connect FiOS TV to an iPhone, or are we assuming the iPhone will take over iPhoto any day now? #mediamanager
Ooo, see, now, I want this. I've got FIOS, but don't really have a central Windows machine at home, at least not one that I'd run solely for the purpose of being a media manager.
Recently, though, I got a mac mini, hooked it up to the primary family tv, and started ripping the kids' DVDs to a central location (not to mention finally organizing all the photos). The problem is that the family won't use it because they can't figure out how to work it (Front Row has its limitations). So if this FIOS thing will allow them to see that content on any TV in the house, in an interface they're already familiar with, that'd be a giant win.
I'd like to know what "Media" means, too, but I guess I'll find out tonight when I install it :). Are we talking streamed movies? that'd be sweet. #mediamanager
