@KhaiJB: All you have to do is download the add-on Nightly Tester Tools and then Force Compatibility to get them all working again.

@Chris Bloyd: and why should I have to do that in the first place? the addons it's marking as broken are not infact broken in the first place....

I wonder if it fixes the memory leak, where Windows will say FF is still open after you close it, preventing you from starting a new session.

    FINALLY.

I've been using the beta and it crashes constantly.

@One Man Freak Show: Sounds about normal.

Firefox 3, crashes on me constantly. As has every Firefox update since Firefox 3, so far. And for some strange reason, Firefox 3 on my computer, absolutely hates YouTube and Twitter.

I swear were it not for the extensions, I would have dumped Firefox 3 for Chrome or Opera a long time ago. Never, ever have any trouble out of either of those browsers - ever. Normally with the old Firefox and Firefox 2, if you had too many extensions, it would crash your browser. Not so with Firefox 3. I've tried running it with ZERO extensions, and it still crashes like the Exxon Valdez. I think it is a bad day for a browser, when even IE runs more stable. And I don't even like IE. Yet, on my computers, it actually runs more stable than Firefox 3 - and trust me, that is bumbing me out.

The few extensions that I do use, have become critical for work, which is the only reason I stick with Firefox 3. But I swear, if I could get the exact same functionality as these extensions from Opera or Chrome, I'd dump Firefox 3 and never look back.

Hopefully, they've fixed these issues with Firefox 3.5. I guess I will know within the hour.

I dont really care about porn, but, I have had to switch to entirely Firefox at home just to browse Giz. I am forced to use IE at work, and there is a script error on every page load.

@ICanHazBrokenCowboy_GitEmSteve...: No, I leave the bug reporting to the true tech nerds of Giz, of which I am not one. I know if Giz wants my help, they would ask. That would also mean they were very, VERY desperate.

@loose_screw: Thanks :) I am home on Firefox and its flying. At work on IE it was taking so long to load pages, I would take bathroom breaks while waiting. I note that it picked up a little in the afternoon, so they must be working on it.
