After all, if your fireplace spins around 360 degrees, it should be well-secured and not just dangling from the ceiling.

Designed by Schweiger & Viererbl, the TURN is intended to let you stick a fireplace right in the middle of a room and enjoy the warm, romantic glow from any side. All that it lacks is a cozy rug, a mug of hot chocolate, and a book. Or maybe just someone to cuddle with. [ConMoto via Mocoloco]

<![CDATA[10 Gadgets That Harness Fire In Your Home]]> Few things are more relaxing than sitting in front of a fire on a cold fall day. These 10 products will help you harness the awesome power of fire in your home.

The design of the Gyrofocus fireplace may be 40 years old, but it was still striking enough to be voted the "world's most beautiful object" at this year's Pulchra design competition. [Focus Creation via Link]
The Conmoto suitcase fireplace allows you to bring warmth and ambiance wherever you go (the casing is weather resistant so even the outdoors isn't off limits). Conmoto is fueled by a small tank of bio-ethanol that burns for 2.5 to 3.5 hours. [Unica Home via Link]
A fire pit built-in to your coffee table gives city folk all of the benefits of a campfire without actually having to venture out into the wilderness. I'm thinking s'mores. [Opulent Items]
The Lumos is more than an outdoor fireplace, it's also a grill. Keep the chimney up and you have ambiance, flip it down and you have delicious meat cooking over charcoal. In other words, it warms you up inside and out. [Leenders via Link]
If NASA ever designed a portable fireplace (or a urinal), it might look something like the Piet. [Cavallius Design via Link]
The fireplace should be the focal point of the room, and the Skloib TV Drehturm allows you to stay true to that philosophy without compromising on the placement of your television. [Skloib via Link]
I have always wanted a wood-fired pizza oven in my backyard, but not quite enough to commit the time and expense to building one myself. If you are willing, Forno Bravo has provided info on how to build an oven like the one pictured here. [Forno Bravo via Flickr via Link]
High pressure propane burners like this one are often associated with frying turkeys, but the truth is you can cook a lot of awesome stuff with it. I would suspect that a high percentage of people (like me) use these to homebrew 5 gallon batches of all-grain beer. [Amazon]
These gigantic bear claw matches are as close as you will get to a guarantee on lighting a fire. The built-in kindling is a big plus, although the colorful, crayon-esque heads could be an invitation for your children to embark on an artistic disaster. [KM Match via Link]
The Wicked Torch is kind of like a cross between a flashlight, a lighter and a stove. At 4100 lumens, it is the brightest flashlight on the face of the earth according to Guinness. It's also hot enough to burn paper, light cigarettes and cook eggs.

<![CDATA[Vauni Cupola Fireplace Mounts Like, But Is Classier Than, a Flat-Screen TV]]> Vauni's bioethanol ventless fireplace, the Cupola, may not have the warmth or coziness of a traditional wood-burner, but it does have practicality and cold Scandinavian style. Plus, the thing mounts right on your wall.

Made of aluminum for weight reasons and coming in white or black, the fireplace burns bioethanol fuel instead of wood, so it's maybe not as organic as lighting wood on fire but it is adjustable and easy to light. Vauni claims the fireplace is "as easily installed as a flat-screen TV," and will give you something classier to gaze at, open-mouthed, than the new season of The Hills. Prices start at 1840 Euros, which is about $2730 USD. Expensive, sure, but you must have expected that from a wall-mountable Swedish fireplace. [Born Rich via DVICE]

<![CDATA[LiveSpark Is an Audio Visualizer Made of Fire]]> The LiveSpark Fireplace features music-reactive flames, meaning, like a real-life visualizer, that the fire will jump and shrink itself based on the thumping beats it detects.

LiveSpark has both indoor and outdoor versions, and seems pretty flexible: The site shows installations of all different sizes and of different materials. We're not sure if it's actually available, as there's no order link or pricing, but if you're crazy rich, an architect, a pyromaniac, or some combination of the three, it'd make a pretty sweet addition to your abode. <![CDATA[Lounge Fire Fireplace Looks Like a Bench—What Could Go Wrong?]]> Woe to the guest who mistakes your Lounge Fire fireplace for a comfy bench, for hidden in the middle is a flame producing jet. Who green-lit this pyro project, Mr. Magoo?

Even the rendered photos of this fireplace show fictional living spaces where this fireplace is disguised with plants and boxes. The Lounge Fire folks are seriously not hiding the fact that they'd like this invention to join the office floor trapdoor as items most likely to be found in a mastermind's secret castle.

Still, if you're the kind of host who enjoys giving your guests a lasting impression, this $1,621 fireplace comes in a variety of woods, metals and other materials. The third degree burns are, obviously, completely free of charge. [Sendhen via Born Rich]

<![CDATA[Fireplace with Built-In TV Might Melt Your TV, But the Neighbors Sure Will Be Impressed]]> While you could buy a big screen TV and place it near a fireplace, it doesn't really rub your net worth in the face of your guests like buying a fireplace with a built-in television. That's exactly what this Vok "Multimedia Fireplace" is, coming loaded up with a TV up to 52-inches in size, a DVD player and a Bose sound system. Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose. Depending on the size of the TV included, this bad boy will run you somewhere between $36,950 and $45,640. [Product Page via New Launches]

<![CDATA[Radius Design Home Flame Keeps the Domestic Fires Burning the Easy Way]]> As the weather gets cooler, we're starting to eagerly anticipate the romance of a fireplace, and we haven't seen any easier to deal with than this Radius Design Home Flame. Just about the only installation you need to worry about is to hang it on the wall like a picture frame, and there's no chimney, logs or smoke to deal with because it burns bio-ethanol. This one's available in black for $1000 or stainless steel for $1150. Just don't burn the house down in your quest for winter comfort and bearskin rug sports, Romeo. [The Uber Review]
