    I understand some people like to spend money making a realistic flight simulator cabin in their home, makes sense, you want to have the feeling that you are flying a real plane.

    But spending all this time, money and effort just to recreate the cabin area?

Granite countertops, recessed lighting, stainless steel appliances, spacious overhead compartments, tray tables locked and seats in their upright poisition - too much to list. Security system includes drop-down oxygen masks, seat cushions that may be used at flotation devices, and emergency exits located at the forward, mid and rear sections of the cabin.     I remember flying British Airways circa 1983 and we got bumped up to the World Club (or whatever it was called) cabin upstairs on the 747 - I thought I had gone to heaven. I really appreciate the economy of today's carriers, but we have lost a lot of the magic of jet travel. Some of the Asian and Gulf airlines try to keep the magic alive, but it's still not quit the same. #panamrecreation

    @i_pooped_on_: Don't assume. You never know what the guy's given up to pay for this. I see folks driving around in $50K luxury sedans around here; I just assume that they have no kind of insurance whatsoever because all their money has to be going into the wheels. #panamrecreation

    People who spend money on ridiculous stuff like this make me angry. In this case it is partially because I've never flown first class, but mostly because that money would pay off my student loans. JUST GIVE ME THE MONEY!!!! It would be put to better use. #panamrecreation
