I'm commenting from my 10.5.7 hackintosh dellmini 9 and have to say that a 12" with all those features is candy. The point of a netbook, is to be small, unobtrusive and useful.
If I want to watch movies, and did alot of multimedia, then I could see moving to a larger screen and storage.
But for email, fast web access (important compared to slow entry on iPhone or PDA) and blogging, and for utility ( I use the Mini "mac" to configure Airport hardware ( the mini
s Broadcom and antenna have much better wifi than ANY mac product out there).
Yeah... I mean, I've got a 12" Lenovo X61. Weighs a bit over 3 lbs, but ships with a Core Duo and a 1024x768 screen. It also cost me a bit north of $1000.00
I think term netbook has come to refer to relatively lightweight machines with a reltively lightweight processor and low price. It helps if there's a small SSD option.
