That is officially awesome. Being from a non-conference school, I can say that.

Stanford and USC should be hatin' tho.

It's good to see the students at my alma mater doing something other than drinking record numbers of Corona. Now, if only I had the same initiative...

@plyhard13: Don't worry, one day you'll drink a record number of Coronii. Or die trying!

So I might soon have a nametag that can display my avatar for the 3rd Annual Gizmodo Gallery show?

@SitDownNancy_GitEmSteveDave: can't you just print out your avatar on some dead trees and use that as a nametag? I haven't seen your avatar change too often.

@psychiccheese: It's for a GIZMODO show. I went with an LED nametag last time.

I feel horrible for wanting to join the army just to play with their gadgets

@Duke Olivius: Don't be. Have you watched a navy or air force commercial lately? They flash aircraft/drones at you, and then show some guy using computers saying how cool it is to be a technician. For marketing purposes, it's better than showing grueling manual labor and training, and it's more politically correct than showing people shooting things or blowing them up.
