    I'm thinking Google will quietly optimize Chrome for their other services like Google Apps, providing incentive for large numbers of installed users to migrate. Face it, it's Google world and we're just searching in it.

    I tried Chrome. The only benefit was a very short start-up time. Other than that I found it to be rather lackluster. Barring some fantastic new feature that we aren't expecting, I can't see Chrome beating out IE. Although Chrome would probably be a better default browser than IE, Firefox still has them all beat.

    @TheShadesOfGrey: Firefox is also a memory hog. Chrome is quick, much like Safari, though feature-wise, is totally like a desert compared to Firefox. :/

    Can't help but think that Google will start to invade the netbook craze with a more robust Android variant meant for larger systems.
