Fuji Finepix Real 3D W1 Tested, Declared "Coolest Camera of the Year"

Just before everyone got completely tired of just talking about how weird-looking Fuji's grin-faced, two-eyed 3D point-and-shoot is, some news: It does work, and it's extremely cool. This according to the Brits at Stuff, who've actually got one. More »

Smiley Fujifilm 3D Point-and-Shoot Camera Does Video, Laughs at Your Stupid Glasses

Fuji's two-eyed 3D consumer camera grinned its way into our lives last week, but Time spared us the details. Now, a proper announcement: the FinePix Real 3D W1 camera shoots 3D stills and video, which can be viewed without glasses. More »

Fujifilm today announced five new cameras at an array of prices, ranging from the $90, 10MP A170 to the "prosumer" DSLR-lite FinePix S200EXR (pictured) at $600. It's a pretty solid lineup of low- to mid-end shooters. More »

Fuji's 3D Point-and-Shoot Due in September for $600, Features Unnerving Smiley Face

No, seriously, once you notice this Fuji's lopsided, goofy grin, you just can't unsee it. It beats the concept version's terrifying death stare, I guess. Anyway: the dual-lensed FinePix Real 3D will land stateside in September, for $600. Sort of. More »

Fujifilm Z33WP Waterproof Camera Is Like a Metal Jolly Rancher That Takes Pictures

Spec-wise, there's nothing truly spectacular (har har) about Fujifilm's waterproof 10-megapixel Z33WP—which doesn't even fully climb aboard the tough-cam bandwagon by promising shock or arctic defenses—but there's one thing about it that I love.

    Fuji's 3D Camera System

Fuji announced a 3d digital imaging system that uses modern image processors to take images with similar quality found in modern cameras. The dual lens system can also be used for future applications including instantly stiched together panoramas from two simultaneous shots, or using one CCD to shoot video while the other shoots stills. (Things regular cameras can do now, with not much difficulty.) What's interesting is that Fuji simultaneously developed a 3D imaging ecosystem including an 8.4 inch, 3D LCD display that needs no glasses and a 3D printer. [Let's go Digital] More »
