Thanks to the readers and their friends who made it out last night to our Funde Razor in SF. Thanks to you all, we raised a fantastic $2360 for Child's Play!

The guys over at Boing Boing Gadgets and Kotaku had even bigger takes in their respective cities. So awesome. And hopefully those of you who did stop by made off with some cool items as well.

Rock Band was played. Drinks were imbibed. Pictures were taken. Plow through the gallery below to see photographic evidence of the good times had by all.

Funde Razor SF is TONIGHT

In case you didn't notice our previous posts, we're hosting a little event (with Wired Game|Life) called Funde Razor in SF where you can play Rock Band for charity. And it's going down TONIGHT.

Here's the deal, we're throwing the party at a place called Shine in the SOMA district of SF. It starts at 7pm and goes 'til Midnight. Entry is free, and for the 21+ crowd only, but since it's an event for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity, donations are looked upon favorably. You'll be able to live out your rock n roll fantasies, throw back a few (or 10) drinks, have a chance to win some prizes and be able to say you met the great Jason Chen before he became a five-time AVN Award winner.

And if you're not in SF, but happen to live in NYC or Denver, you should swing by one of the Funde Razor events there, which are hosted by Joel Johnson of Boing Boing Gadgets, and Brian Crecente of Kotaku, respectively. [Funde Razor]

This year Gizmodo (along with Kotaku and Boing Boing Gadgets) is going to be hosting a Funde Razor event in San Francisco. What's Funde Razor?

It's a chance of you to help raise money for the Penny Arcade Child's Play Charity by going to an event, playing Rock Band and drinking alcohol. Sound good? You'll also get to hang out with some Giz folks, such as Adrian and myself, so you won't want to miss it. We'll be at the San Francisco event, but if you're in Denver or NY and want to attend the other ones, feel free! It's for a good cause. Fünde Razor Brings Beer, Games and Prizes to Denver and Brooklyn Tonight

Fünde Razor Coming to Denver, Brooklyn; Gaming, Drinking and Prizes in Full Effect

In case you haven't heard already, Fünde Razor is coming. The oh-so-cleverly titled fundraiser for Penny Arcade's Child's Play Charity is happening in Denver and Brooklyn on Wednesday, December 12th, and it promises to be a lot of fun for a good cause. Organized by Kotaku's Brian Crecente and Boing Boing Gadgets' (and formerly Gizmodo's) Joel Johnson, it'll involve playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero on a giant screen while drinking fancy microbrews surrounded by a bunch of internet geeks. If you aren't sold by that description alone, I don't know what the hell is wrong with you. Perhaps we can entice you with some prizes?

Raffles will be in full effect at both locations, with the grand prize in both Denver and Brooklyn being these badass life-sized companion cubes (confused? Go play Portal. Now.). We here at Giz will also be tossing some awesome as-to-be-announced prizes into the ring, so get excited about that. But really, you should just be happy that there's an excuse to get drunk and play video games and actually be helping other people for once rather than just wasting your life away.
