This is CLASSIC! Is this a metaphor for what software engineers at Micro$oft are secretly doing behind the scenes, instead of creating software that actually works correctly?

As well, Windows machines are typical of being virus sponges. Another metaphor!

    One final thing...

To the point of their current ad campaign - "Life Without Boundaries (or walls, or whatever it is??)" Isn't it better to have a few walls and boundaries, and have the thing work, then the other way around?

I was just at their website, and I saw this really cool thing called photosynth. But, of course, they wish to be obstinate, and because I have a Mac, I can't view it. Oh no.... They couldn't have created it in Flash, or some other multi-platform viewer. They HAD to use their own software, thusly pissing off (and losing more customers).

Way to go in a failing economy.
