    The only iPod I'll ever buy is a nano with built in Nike+. I'm happy with my Zune ($15 per month for all-you-can-eat music is a killer-app)

    I like the idea of it being built in (they did it on the touch how hard could it really be to do on a nano?) but buying the kit separately doesn't seem like a deal killer to me.

    And about not owning the music: it's $15 a month. I'm not exactly poor. Plus, I can put my own CDs on it too. With subscription-based services, $10 for near-CD quality sound is now too much IMHO.


    Apple changed the price point and Microsoft and others are changing it again.

    @ezman: Apple may base their decision on the successes of prior attempts. Right now, Zune's all-you-can-eat Marketplace looks pretty desirable, but Apple's always getting caught into a power-play with content providers, namely Universal. I'd like to see a TV show subscription first, as I'd only really watch a show a couple of times, if not just once. TV shows have way lower replay value than music.
