    I think a better method would be to get cell-phone carriers to start listing the time and date of text messages.


    I already make demands for phone records to see if the person was on the phone around the time of the accident; adding texts to the printout doesn't even cost me time.


    That's right - if you sue, be prepared to turn over your cellphone records.

    How about putting a sensor in the kid's car... that way when the driver/owner is actually driving, they can't text or call, except for emergencies. like lowtech bluetooth with a passcode.

    My biggest complaint with my iPhone is the fact that it is impossible to type without looking at the screen. It drives me crazy.


    /not just during driving, but when in a meeting, at the bar, whatever...
