@endless: The same can be said about the USB ports on the G11 and G15. Not enough power to handle a mouse with LED's (all gaming mice). Also worthless for plugging in USB Flash drives since it transfers at a slower rate.
$200?? So unnecessary.... buy a rock-solid keyboard for under $75 and do your VOIP, web, and other tasks on the laptop next to you. That's what I do, and it works just fine. The little screen seems like a gimmick to me. Too small to be really useful, and a little obtrusive and annoying... looking down at my keyboard to see my health/ammo/etc? Stupid.
Really? I've never had any issues with Logitech drivers before, and I've used at least three different mice as well as the RumblePad Pro 2 (or whatever it's called).
@sugardeath: I'm sure Logitech's drivers and software must work for someone...
But, honestly, they've never worked right for me. I have been burned by them too many time sin the past, with their sexy mice and keyboards, and then find their installs glitchy, and post-release updates to be spotty at best. I didn't like the feel of their first gamer keyboard, just personal preference since I prefer the Microsoft Natural style, but the feature-set did sway me. I bought it, but once I saw the drivers and software I was disappointed and returned it. A friend kept his, but lamented consistent and unified support for the keyboard and spotty in-game performance of the various 3rd party bits.
I can't confirm that, since I don't use it myself, but IMO Logitech doesn't have a good track record for drivers and smooth, easy-to-use software for their products. The only Logitech product I bought recently was a Quickcam, and again, the Logitech software it included was horrible. I didn't buy it for their 3D avatars, but it's pathetic that the 3D avatars don't use DirectX or OpenGL, and instead use software only rendering. What could have been an amusing an fun "toy" feature is instead rendered (ha-ha) useless by subpar programmers, and it's that level of quality I've seen in everything they release software-side.
Logitech also has a tendency to quickly and completely drop a product line (in favor of a new one) and never look back, meaning no more driver updates.
Really, what's the point of watching YouTube on the keyboard? Are we that in need of something shiny to constantly distract us? The keyboard is a tool connected to a display. This seems redundant and overly useless, just another bell and whistle so they can go, "Oh, hey, and you watch YouTube on this, too!" Oy. Otherwise, seems like a great tool, but YouTube on a mini-display? I'll bet they're working on putting YouTube on their next Harmony Remote, too.
Thanks for all the replies, and all the ideas. I may have to try the vent one. I joined a new guild and it would be nice to know who's talking since I don't know anyone yet.
You know Giz, and you in particular Matt, have had me searching for the past two days for my copies of Starcraft and DiabloII which are somewhere around my house. Watching COD on the 103 and reading all these posts on graphics cards and keyboards, has given me the fever again.
@Git Em SteveDave loves this guy->★: there is something very sad about reloading Diablo II on the ol' Compy and then seeing those level 80 characters that have expired.
@zenpoet: I'd be loading it onto my PC as the original is on my Mac. I didn't get into DII as much as I did DI, so my character prolly wasn't as good. I do remember killing Ol D' on the first try my first time through, but it took three times the second round.
@EVEs_Mako: Whats really funny is that my girlfriend plays COD4 (probably more than me lol) and she always gets ragged on because they all think she's a 7 year old boy. :D

Also, Logitech sucks for support and drivers.

It's like using these tiny little clamshell cell phones to browse the web. Yeah, you can use it. But can you USE it?
