no picture of the power brick? that's my dealbreaker, if it's too big i can't buy it (no space left on my power strip) if it'll fit then i'm gonna get it!
@nizzy1115: If you've used a higher end Logitech keyboard before-especially the G11 or G15, you roughly know what you're getting. Logitech's keys are a perfect balance of punchy and squishy and just really feel fantastic-it's why they haven't messed with the formula in a long time.
@Pretolo: The review said the keys are the same as the G11 and G15. So I took the gamble that nizzy had used one of the others as they have been around.
@endless: The same can be said about the USB ports on the G11 and G15. Not enough power to handle a mouse with LED's (all gaming mice). Also worthless for plugging in USB Flash drives since it transfers at a slower rate.
$200?? So unnecessary.... buy a rock-solid keyboard for under $75 and do your VOIP, web, and other tasks on the laptop next to you. That's what I do, and it works just fine. The little screen seems like a gimmick to me. Too small to be really useful, and a little obtrusive and annoying... looking down at my keyboard to see my health/ammo/etc? Stupid.
Really? I've never had any issues with Logitech drivers before, and I've used at least three different mice as well as the RumblePad Pro 2 (or whatever it's called).
@sugardeath: I'm sure Logitech's drivers and software must work for someone...
But, honestly, they've never worked right for me. I have been burned by them too many time sin the past, with their sexy mice and keyboards, and then find their installs glitchy, and post-release updates to be spotty at best. I didn't like the feel of their first gamer keyboard, just personal preference since I prefer the Microsoft Natural style, but the feature-set did sway me. I bought it, but once I saw the drivers and software I was disappointed and returned it. A friend kept his, but lamented consistent and unified support for the keyboard and spotty in-game performance of the various 3rd party bits.
I can't confirm that, since I don't use it myself, but IMO Logitech doesn't have a good track record for drivers and smooth, easy-to-use software for their products. The only Logitech product I bought recently was a Quickcam, and again, the Logitech software it included was horrible. I didn't buy it for their 3D avatars, but it's pathetic that the 3D avatars don't use DirectX or OpenGL, and instead use software only rendering. What could have been an amusing an fun "toy" feature is instead rendered (ha-ha) useless by subpar programmers, and it's that level of quality I've seen in everything they release software-side.
Logitech also has a tendency to quickly and completely drop a product line (in favor of a new one) and never look back, meaning no more driver updates.
Really, what's the point of watching YouTube on the keyboard? Are we that in need of something shiny to constantly distract us? The keyboard is a tool connected to a display. This seems redundant and overly useless, just another bell and whistle so they can go, "Oh, hey, and you watch YouTube on this, too!" Oy. Otherwise, seems like a great tool, but YouTube on a mini-display? I'll bet they're working on putting YouTube on their next Harmony Remote, too.

He asked about the material of the keys, not the action-feel. Learn to read, instead of copy-pasting irrelevant information...
