    regarding the usb heated mittens, could you just plug a battery pack with a usb out into them? That actually could be marginally practical, but I doubt that the heating element or quality of the gloves is up to the task of actually keeping your hands warm...


    I mean they are just using the USB spec as a power supply right? These gadgets aren't actually Rx/Tx-ing any data are they?
