If you're thinking about picking up a tablet, especially for school, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 just got a little bit better. The tablet's Student Edition Bundle is on sale today until September 1st for $250.
You probably need a cheat sheet to keep track of all of Samsung's tablets: the Galaxy Tab 7, the 10.1, the 8.9, the 7.0 Plus, the 7.7, and did I hear a niner in there? And now there's the Galaxy Tab 2, with two models (7.0 and 10.1) that are very slightly improved, but not enough to justify a few hundred bucks.
While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 appears to be a much better attempt at a seven-inch tablet than the original (it runs Ice Cream Sandwich, which, you know, is actually designed for tablets), is it reeeeeeally that necessary to revisit the past when the company already makes 7.7, 8.9, and 10.1-inch tablets as well?
